APPLICATION: Fastest most accurate way to calibrate any pulse
counting instrument when followed by a "touch-up"
calibration on a calibration course. The PV-1 Pulse Generator
is a small, lightweight instrument designed for use in calibration
and trouble shooting of pulse-rate equipment.


DESCRIPTION: The PV-1 has a variable pulse rate from .01
counts per minute to 999,000 counts per second with an accuracy
better than .01%, crystal controlled, digitally derived. 

Readout is a three digit thumb wheel, switchable counts per
minute or counts per second. Pulse width is continuously
variable from .5 \mu S to 5 \mu S.
Pulse amplitude is continuous variable from 0-5 V. Three
types of output are provided, sync output, TTL pulse output,
and high voltage protected pulse output.
