Operated by AC mains or by batteries. Batteries are automatically disconnected when LAM is plugged into the line. These instruments can be used with all the standard Technical Associates P and P-S series probes, Geiger and scintillation. They provide versatility and dependability at low cost. They find frequent use as lab monitors or as area monitors and are also suitable for survey or contamination work.
