It is sensitive and versatile. Although designed as an industrial workplace and hospital breathing air measurement system, it may be used to monitor fume hoods and stack effluent down to EPA levels. Figure 1: AS-100-AC DESCRIPTION: The AS-100 uses standard 2" diameter glass fiber filters in TA's unique quick change, no leak holders to trap any airborne particulates. Optionally with Model FR-PIB the filter is under constant surveillance via a GM or scintillation detector. Air is drawn by a high volume pump through a flow sensor and exhausted through an optional short three-foot hose. An Inlet and outlet hose may be attached to allow monitoring of hoods, glove boxes, stacks, etc. The unit is completely self-contained and portable. Complete with 10 filters.
